My story

I’m an English teacher from Argentina, and I’ve been teaching since 2014.

Then I discovered Luke’s English Podcast and spent a year in Cambridge, England. For the first time, I really heard how British English sounds: the connected speech, the idioms, the little things people say without thinking. I wanted to share that with other learners, and that’s how Alex’s Adventures in English started.

I’m a qualified English teacher, and I’m still learning every day too.

How I teach

I teach with real English, not textbook English. We listen to podcasts, films, games and everyday conversations, and then we break them down together.

  • Listen to how people really talk.
  • Shadow it: repeat it out loud, with the same rhythm and sounds.
  • Understand the connected speech and idioms behind it.
  • Use it in your own conversations, with my feedback.

All lessons are live on Google Meet.

  • 1-to-1 lessons: start with a level check from USD 10 / ARS 13,000.
  • Packs: a pack of 4 lessons is 10% off, and a pack of 8 is 15% off.
